GRANTS IN AID TO THE STATE GOVERNMENTS OF NORTH EASTERN STAES, SIKKIM AND JAMMU & KAHSMIR

Under the Central Sector Scheme, funds are also released as grants-in-aid to the State Governments of the North-Eastern States for construction of intermediate storage godowns.

The status of such funds released and capacity created during the 12th Plan period i.e. 2012-13 to 2016-17 is given below:-

Besides above, a fund of Rs.10.36 Crore has been released to the State Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh for construction of PDS godowns in 14 locations of 10 districts in the border areas of the State.

The scheme would be continued for next three years, i.e. 2017-18 to 2019-20. The projected physical and financial targets and achievements for these three years are as given below:
